What counts as inspiration?

Every story on this wall came from someone who felt moved enough to share it. There's no wrong reason. If it matters to you, it belongs here.

Voices of Support

Families, supporters, and friends riding with us in spirit — every mile has a story.

Our son Michael is 8 years old and has autism. When we found Johnnie's Place, everything changed. He went from isolated and struggling to thriving in a community that understands him. This ride means the world to us because it means more kids like Michael will never feel alone.
50 miles In Memory Of
I'm dedicating 50 miles to my grandfather, a WWII veteran who loved this country more than anything. He used to say that America's strength isn't in agreeing with each other, it's in listening to each other. That's why this ride matters. We need more people willing to cross divides and find common ground.

I'm a teacher and I see every day how important it is for kids to feel included. Johnnie's Place does exactly that for children with autism. I might not be able to ride 3,664 miles, but I can buy 10 miles and be part of something bigger than myself.
100 miles Why It Matters
I grew up in a small town in Montana and now I live in New York City. This country is so diverse, so beautiful, and yet we're more divided than ever. When I heard about this ride, I knew I had to support it. We need people willing to put in the work to bring us together.
42 miles Family Story
My daughter Emma is 12 and autistic. For years, I watched her struggle to connect with other kids. Johnnie's Place gave her a community where she belongs. I'm buying 42 miles, one for each day of your journey, because you're riding for kids like Emma and families like ours.
20 miles In Honor Of
These miles are for my best friend who has a son with autism. Watching him navigate the challenges and celebrate the victories has taught me so much about resilience and love. This ride is about more than miles. It's about showing up for the people we care about.
5 miles Supporter
I'm a college student and can't afford much, but I wanted to contribute something. Five miles might not seem like a lot, but if everyone gives what they can, we can change lives. That's the America I believe in, where we all pitch in and take care of each other.
30 miles Why It Matters
I'm a retired veteran and I've seen this country from coast to coast. There's nothing more American than people coming together for a good cause. What you're doing, riding across the country to help kids with autism, that's the spirit of service that makes this nation great.
15 miles Family Story
My nephew Alex was diagnosed with autism when he was 3. It was scary at first, but organizations like Johnnie's Place showed us that autism isn't something to fear. It's just a different way of experiencing the world. I'm buying these miles because every child deserves to be celebrated for who they are.
